So my sister inspired me!

My sister has brought out the inspiration in me and I've decided to try and blog again.

The main thing I would have to say lately is, I'm tired to this two year old phase where my daughter likes to tell me no and then politely look up at me and smile and say "no spankin?" I mean come on could she possibly make my job any harder then it already is?

On the other hand my Dillon is turning into the sweetest boy ever! He loves to give "lovins" and is very quick to say I love you Mommy, Daddy, etc. I am coming to grips with the fact that he is starting school this year and will be there from 8-2:30 monday through friday, and I'm not quite sure how I feel about this yet! I'm excited for him because I know he will absolutely love it, but I'm sad for me and his sister, who will miss him during the day!

Now I am currently going to try and recall the funny things he has said to me lately. One that was a few months back but is so funny I had to post because it has stuck with me ever since, he says Mommy, do Mens like to fight? and I said well Dillon yes most probably do, and he then proceeds to say Mommy and Daddy? and we were all in the car at this moment so Joe and I both answered yes? and he says, I love to fight Man's and I love to LOVE the ladies! We laughed soooo hard about this!

He has also repeatedly asked to go to dance class, mind you honestly there has been no coaxing on my part whatsoever, he brings this up and say's did Daddy say I can go to dance class yet? because he has heard his father and I arguing over this a few times but alas Joe has relented and Dillon can go to dance....but Hip Hop only Daddy says. So thats pretty much it for the Crook house at the moment, I am going to be searching for a 4 year old hip hop class, is there such a thing? We will soon find out!

Silly Kids....

Its been awhile and Ive been told I don't update this often enough. But I was waiting for my children to do something funny!

As most of you know I am extremellllllyyyyyyy busy. I have two jobs and at the same time I'm talking 15 credit college hours. YIKES, as the semester is going on, the work is getting harder. Tuesdays are my worst days. I get up at 7, I get to the high school by 8 and coach the pom squad there till 10, then I go and waitress at Goldie's till 1:30, then I have to be at TCC (the community collge) to take my english class that I had to redo :/ , then I head all the way across two towns to go to Norteastern State to continue my education and take 2 classes there on tuesday nights till about 9:30 pm. Needless to say I am not home at all on tuesdays and its rough on me and the kids....or so I thought.

It was this last tuesday that I came home after a day like this. I was so excited to get in and see my kids, I'm lucky if Claire is still up. So I get in the house, and my wonderful mother-in-law, who watches them every tuesday night, was about to leave shortly after I arrived. Well Dillon says to her "Migi" thats his name for her. "No Migi, you can't go", and of course it was a lot of yes, Migi has to work tomorrow and Mommy missed you. So she made it out the door without to much whining from Dillon.

Shortly after she walked out the door I noticed Dillon was standing there frowning with his arms crossed. He then looks at me and proceeds to say. "Mommy, I don't want to belong here anymore." I said "What?" He tells me again "I don't want to belong here anymore, I'm supposed to be with Migi" I tried to hide my laughter and said "Oh Really?" and he says "Yes, I don't want to belong here, I'm going to Migi's house" He then went to the door and tried to open it. After that I started laughing I couldn't help it. He then realized he had done something funny and all was well.

Wow, this blog is kinda long. Anyway and for an update on Claire, she is now talking alot! She says, Eat, Bite, I, Sit, Cheese, Cracker, Cookie, Dee Dee (for Dillon), Mama, Daddy, Hi, Bye Bye, and Ball. She also is started to repeat somethings that we say. She is so full of life and always on the go, and adorable! Here's some new pics for you guys to see! Thats all for now, hopefully it won't be so long between posts!

Yes, my mom and Julie are blogging so I figured....why not? My mother has urged me many many times to start writing down the funny things my kids say so why not here? Its a good of spot as any right?

I have to start with what he said to me the other day, we have been working on learning our whole name, he is also fascinated right now with knowing that his Mom's name is Sandee and his Dad's name is Joe. So Julie (whom he knows as Tauntie) were sitting in my living room and I said "No, Julie, that won't work." and he says to me. "No, you can't call her Julie, thats Tauntie, don't call her Julie, SANDEE!" Needless to say we both started laughing. He's a smart little booger.

So we've been working on his full name, he now knows his name is Dillon Joseph Crook. His Migi (Joe's mom) and I were sitting in the living room, and we were showing her that he knew his name. So we say whats Migi's name? and he says "Migi" and I go No, whats her whole name? and he looks at her and says "Are you a Crook?" We all laughed sooooo hard. He's so funny sometimes. Just thought I'd share those thoughts with you all!!
